Common questions

Why should I request instead of just buying something else?
Because if we build it, you get it free (existing customers) or 50% off (new customers). And it goes into our library so others can benefit too. You're helping shape what we build next, and you save money.
How do you decide which requests to build?
Three things: (1) does it fit our SA-compliance niche, (2) is there broader demand beyond just one customer, and (3) can we build it well in 2 weeks. We approve most requests that meet these criteria.
What gets declined?
Honestly, very few things. We decline requests that fall outside SA business needs (e.g. US tax forms), require specialist legal qualifications we can't provide (e.g. specific court documents), or are essentially identical to templates we already have. We always reply with a reason if we decline.
What if I need it in less than 2 weeks?
Mention "urgent" in the form and we'll do our best — sometimes we can fast-track a build to 5-7 days if the request is well-specified. But we'd rather be honest than overpromise. If you need it tomorrow, our existing 80-template library probably has something close that you could adapt.
Can I request a custom version of an existing template?
Yes — for branded customisation of an existing template, that's actually a quick consulting job (R600 Quick Fix package on the homepage). For a meaningfully different version that would benefit other customers, request it here.
Is my idea protected? Could you give it to someone else?
Generic template ideas (e.g. "restaurant menu template") aren't IP-protectable — anyone can build them. We won't share specific details from your form publicly. Once we build the template, it becomes part of our library available to everyone who wants to buy it.
